This is a neat way to travel

Our first leg, stopping over in Auckland, New Zealand, was uneventful and it was a good thing to be able to stretch the legs and make ouselves feel comfortable again. Whilst we had a good gork at all the NZ souvenir shops, a sweet male voice announced over the loudspeaker that
'the peron who's left the pin at the counter should return to pick it up.'

Pin, of cause is NZ for Pen.

But here I was thinkinking that it may have been code for something, as, where we come from, that announcement would never even have made it anywhere near the P.A. ...maybe it was a very expensive pen?! But even then, that would not become a public announcement in our Sydney airport!

Cute!!!!


We took off on time and little did we know, but most of us had their last great and healthy meal on NZ soil until we return. We arrived in LA and after a little confusion about where to pick us up from, we were coached to Knott's Berry Farm Resort Hotel, where we promptly made good use of their Spa and heated pool.
